What an inspiring morning at the Calgary Petroleum Club! Our latest Networking for Success Breakfast brought together passionate professionals, newcomers, and industry leaders to talk about how we can bridge global experience, grow meaningful careers, and adapt to change in today’s workforce.

We started off with a warm welcome from Sibi Sadasivam, who set the stage for an incredible session. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Lahiru Silva PhD, PMP, P.Eng from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), shared practical and powerful insights into the PMP certification—what it is, why it matters, and how newcomers can get certified in Canada. He reminded us how aligning our education with our goals can really open doors.

Then Temitope Omojola M.Sc., PMP®, LSSGB shared his inspiring success story. He spoke about the importance of networking, staying flexible, embracing creativity, and finding the right mentors as you build your career in a new country.
